STORY of PROFINA

PROFINA was formed in 1990 in Kluang Johor, Malaysia. We started our humble beginnings as a repairer of boiler and pressurized vessels for process industries. Since then, we have experienced rapid and continuous expansion, owing to our growing clientele and vigorous effort.

In 1993, Profina Teknik Sdn. Bhd., an engineering company was incorporated, engaging in palm oil engineering works and industry services. Profina Teknik provides technical and engineering support, service and maintenance in areas of fabrication and installation of steel structures, civil, boiler repair & service, manufactures of pressure vessels, storage tanks, conveyors, piping, and related equipment and machineries.

Currently, we have a total production floor of over 10,117 square meters together with a dynamic workforce of over 50 highly experienced personnel. All of them are ready to support our clients to provide variable solution to suit our customers.

We strongly believe in highest quality of product and service in order to fulfil our customer satisfaction. That’s why we are very concerned about product quality and continue to improve our quality control in accordance with engineering and manufacturing standards and practices.

Our Milestone of Incorporation

The company incorporated and start operation at 1990 by the founder Mr. Tan Tiam Aik with a humble beginning of 3 workers.
In 1994, the company obtained the:
- The Malaysian authority on pressure vessels fabrication and boiler repair license.
- The marine and offshore oil and gas certificate of competency.
In 1995, Profina act as a turnkey contractor for various Palm Oil Mills in Malaysia.
In 1996, Profina registered as an Environment Consultant with Malaysia Department of Environment.
In 2000, Profina co-owned the creamer manufacturing plant using palm kernel oil.
In 2007, Profina extents company business to West Africa focusing in turn-around projects for various mills of PALMCI.
In 2009, Profina engaged in construction of Bio-gas Plant and Solvent Plant with Malaysian Government approved certification.
In 2010, Profina starts to apply for implementation of ISO 9001 and OHSAS 18007:2007
In 2016, Profina engage in design, fabricate and supply of Patented (under Intellectual Property Corporation of Malaysia) Telescopic Sterilizer
